As a budding millinery company, Samsara Design is turning hats on end. Repurposing unusual raw materials, vintage fabrics and antique accessories, the designs are riding the line of modern extreme and classic style. Lead designer and owner, Sara Czosnyka, found a love and connection to the millinery world while extending her material studies practiced as an industrial designer at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She found being a milliner was the “perfect marriage between the tactile experience of fine art with the problem solving and functionality of design.”
